Black Locust Tree Reflections in Waughop Lake

The black locust trees at Fort Steilacoom Park have blossoms right now, and they smell wonderful! This is a picture of some black locust trees and their reflection in the lake.

Visit Watery Wednesday to see more pictures with water in them!

  2. Great shot of a beautiful tree! The water looks so relaxing. Thanks for visiting and for your comment. :)

  3. That's gorgeous-- I can hardly tell where the reflection starts. The strong black lines with the bits of bright green is a striking combination.

  4. Cool! I can't quite tell where the tree stops and the reflections begin. I wish I could smell it too.

  5. Thank you all! I'm so glad you enjoyed the picture! Black locusts trees are really interesting. . . their leaves look delicate and their flowers are so pretty and smell so beautiful, yet they have deeply furrowed bark and dark, twisted branches which have huge thorns on them. They are one of my favorite trees! :)
