Black Locust Tree Reflections in Waughop Lake

The black locust trees at Fort Steilacoom Park have blossoms right now, and they smell wonderful! This is a picture of some black locust trees and their reflection in the lake.

  3. That's gorgeous-- I can hardly tell where the reflection starts. The strong black lines with the bits of bright green is a striking combination.

Black locusts trees are really interesting. . . their leaves look delicate and their flowers are so pretty and smell so beautiful, yet they have deeply furrowed bark and dark, twisted branches which have huge thorns on them. They are one of my favorite trees! :)
